Cooking Classes

Master the art of slow cooking and infuse it into your weekly repertoire with one of our cooking classes.

Delighted that many of our local blog followers asked us to help them better understand the “Dos and the Don'ts” of slow cooking, we taught our first Slow Cooking 101 class at Elawa Farm in January 2015.

From one home cook to another, we share our passion for slow cooking and how it brought a little zen into our home. From guidelines on choosing a slow cooker to recommentations on how to stock your pantry and freezer, our intention is for you to enjoy a delicious “from scratch” meal, allowing for modern day demands.

Whether you are working out of the house, a stay at home mom or dad or a group looking for inspiration in the kitchen send us an email and we will let you know what classes we have scheduled or we can customize a private cooking class in your own home. From classics to contemporary, our slow cooker recipes are designed with a 20 minute or less preparation time, using wholesome ingredients.
